The Tao of Bamboo or Nggelar
Nggulung Ngelar Jagad is a silat-bamboo-nature narrative crafted. Into an organic
artwork, EcoArt. It is tangible and spatial, growing along and blending with the.
Life of the community, its culture, and its environment. In this realm, I never
feel lonely, because they always accompany me, using a simple, unique language.
Perhaps I don't fully know their language, but I'm certain they understand my
complex speech and chime in. They are all kinds of grasses, with bamboo at the
forefront. As a living creature, bamboo has a unique way of interacting with
other creatures, becoming a partner to humans. It carries out its duties,
devoid of ego and without personal ambition. It dedicates itself, willingly
restoring the earth that has been ravaged by the extractive greed of its human
inhabitants. Actually, Nggelar Nggulung Ngelar Jagad is a sketched map of my
own life journey, an inner landscape that reveals a path strewn with confusion,
failure, greed, loss, and errancy. Nggelar Nggulung Ngelar Jagad (3NG-J) will
be deployed, displayed, and revealed in the language of grass, with the hope
that you, my fellow traveler in this green expanse, will never feel lonely.
